RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and supervise Engineers, Assistant Engineers, Engineering Assistants, Technicians, and Operators to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Perform full hands-on operation, setup, and troubleshooting of Guzik DET machines or equivalent HDD component testing equipment, with strong knowledge of HDD head and media component testing algorithms. Ensure consistent machine uptime and adequate manpower planning to support continuous R&D and Mass Production (MP) operations. Evaluate new machine technologies to support customer product roadmaps and prepare technical evaluation reports. Drive continuous research and development of critical Guzik parameters to support HDD performance improvement. Conduct in-depth analysis and investigation of media magnetic properties versus electrical performance.
