The R&D Technical Assistant will prepare/conduct test samples for reliability and design qualification testing, document test plans and reports, as well as supporting hands-on prototyping, machine preventative maintenance and failure analysis teardowns to support the development of medical ultrasound transducers.
**Your role:**
+ Determines the method/sequence of work, whether parts with abnormalities should be replaced or modified and desirability of using and making tools and accessories.
+ Assesses and analyzes the desirability/necessity of improvements and simplifications in processes and procedures and draws up a change form.
+ Conducts and coordinate’s reliability and design qualification testing in collaboration with R&D reliability engineers, Product Industrialization engineers, and Supply Chain engineers.
+ Conducts and coordinates performance, acoustic, and safety testing and performs failure analysis in collaboration with R&D engineers.
