Job Description

Provides guidance and direction to multiple Observers engaged in gathering azimuth, elevation and time of flight data using surveying instruments, theodolites, Software and interfacing equipment to identify precise airburst and/or impact point locations. Identifies and assigns crew member locations to be used for data collection. Establishes temporary observation points as required. Checks final field note inputs for clarity, accuracy and data submission using the Forward Observer Field-to-Database (F2DB) program that includes the following: station locations, corresponding coordinates, orientations, test setups, attribute inputs, field conditions and geometry.
