Job Profile Summary: The Radiation Oncology Nurse functions an a collaborative role with the Radiation Oncology Team and other healthcare providers in providing continuity and outcome-directed quality patient care. Interdependently assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care provided throughout the treatment course and follow-up period. Job involves direct patient care and encompasses patient/family teaching, symptom management, counseling, and supportive role to assist patient and family in coping with and adjusting to diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Schedule: Full-time, Days.

Requirements:

• Current Kansas Registered Nurse license.
• AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers Within 30 Days.
• AHA PALS Provider Within 365 Days.
• RN Competency Day Annually By Transcript Due Date.
