Mission

The purpose of the R&D Test Technician is to support the R&D team with the preparation and operation of tests in a safe and timeous manner and maintain the equipment in the State-of-the-Art testing facility. The responsibilities of the position will include, but not be limited to, the following tasks.

Assist in the fabrication/preparation of testing samples and concept.

Operate testing equipment in accordance with the defined methodology.

Maintenance of the testing equipment and facilities.

Task allocation and administrative management of team personnel.

Enforcing adherence to good worksmaship standards.

Competencies required

Fabrication and Fitting Work:

Arc and gas cutting.

Assembly of machines.

Operating a cold circular saw.

Operation of hand tools.

Operation of power tools.

Interpretation of engineering drawings.
