Position Overview
Key Responsibilities Pre-Contract / Tender Phase: - Review and study Architectural drawings to understand project scope
- Conduct quantity take-offs, measurements, and cost estimates for tender submissions
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
- Source and call for quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
- Evaluate tenders from contractors and negotiate where appropriate
- Prepare tender pricing and ensure timely tender submission
- Assist in study and analysis of elemental costs
Post-Contract / Project Execution: - Manage progress claims, variation works, and final account preparation
- Assess payments and variation works to clients and subcontractors
- Monitor project costs and control overruns to ensure project objectives are achieved
