Position Overview

The Quantity Surveyor will be involved working on projects associated with Stormwater & Drainage, Flood Alleviation, Wastewater Networks and Water distribution networks Pumping Station Recycling Plant. This will involve undertaking investigations, planning, designing, tendering, contract administration and construction supervising & monitoring. The role will be based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Accountabilities

• Technical Delivery – Experience in all facets of quantity surveying including cost planning, quantity take-off, preparation of bills of quantities, estimating, tender and contract document production, report writing, claim evaluation and negotiation, general post-contract administration, valuation of variations, agreement of new rates, Taking Over Certificates, and Defects Liability; assistance to Resident Engineer on commercial matters; preparation and agreement of interim payment applic...
