In this role you will metallurgically examine coatings on customer components to ascertain cause of failure or to confirm/check that new coating techniques meet the requirements expectedFurther you will be preparing laboratory reports outlining details of the examination and any conclusions reachedEnsuring that all inspection documentation is complete and that all details, have been accurately recorded on outgoing certification is required in this roleIssuing the final certification of conformance prior to the dispatch of componentsYou will raise non-conformance reports when requiredMonitoring strip line by means of chemical analysis, as well as analysing coatings using SEM and EDX will be part of this roleYou will be preparing and evaluate various hardness samples What makes you great
