Position Overview
Minimum requirements for the role:
A National Diploma in Packaging Technology, Diploma in Polymer Chemistry, Packaging or Plastic Technology or related is preferred.
Must have a proven track record in the Quality Assurance environment.
Relevant experience working in a QA (Quality Assurance) Production / Test laboratory environment, physically testing the printed packaging & multi-layered PA/PE films.
Must have an understanding of flexographic printing, extrusion processes and flexible packaging manufacturing.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good organizational skill.
Previous experience having worked on ISO or BRCGS or a related for Packaging and packaging materials, SANS – HACCP and SANS - Food hygiene management. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
