An opportunity to join a well-established mining operation, this role will support the purchasing function from head office and assist site-based teams with core purchasing, expediting and supplier coordination activities.

Working closely with suppliers, transport providers and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure purchasing activities are processed efficiently and operational requirements are met.

Core functions of the role include:

• Reviewing and converting purchase requisitions
• Maintaining purchase orders, including confirmation status and delivery dates
• Generating overdue reports and expediting outstanding purchase orders with vendors
• Assisting site-based teams with supplier and stakeholder queries through the team mailbox
• Coordinating freight bookings and collections with transport providers
• Utilising inventory and procurement systems
