Position Overview

Operations Manager

Overall role and responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing day‑to‑day operations of departments under control.
  • Identifying areas for improvement to drive performance and business results.
  • Control of purchase orders for glass, aluminium, major electrical, electronic and assembly parts; authorising, signing and approving as appropriate and in accordance with the company’s agreed sign‑off limits.
  • Authorisation and dispute resolution of supplier invoices.
  • Procurement of other company assets as required by the directors.
  • Negotiating and agreeing pricing contracts for the above items and service contracts such as energy and waste under the control of the purchasing department.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers, including site visits; identify new potential suppliers and perform supplier appraisal reports.
