The role

– Purchasing Manager

The purpose of the role is to ensure the business acquires necessary goods and services efficiently and cost-effectively, ultimately contributing to increased profitability, reduced waste, and a more efficient supply chain.


Duties will include:

  • Identifying raw materials, goods, services, or equipment the business needs

  • Researching, identifying, and evaluating potential vendors to find the most suitable products and prices.

  • Negotiating favourable terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings and ensuring quality.

  • Creating, issuing, and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.

  • Monitoring the quality of goods and services to ensure they meet company standards and customer needs.

  • Managing the procurement budget
