JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direction of the Sergeant, Department of Public Safety (DPS), the Public Safety Assistant II (PSA II), provides essential support to DPS. This role requires comprehensive knowledge of the organization with skill in working in the security field and following all DPS policies and procedures. This role is responsible for performing a broad range of duties while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. This is a uniformed guard position, requiring compliance with all current California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) guard card guidelines.
