Summary About the Position: Serves as a Public Affairs specialist for Headquarters Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command developing annual, specific public affairs plans and activities to ensure achievement of organizational goals. Responsibilities Compose written, oral and/or visual information for use by senior leaders to inform the public, stakeholders and/or lawmakers. Develop PA plans and messages for audiences, publics, and stakeholders. Produce written material that effectively conveys information about the organization’s projects or activities. Coordinate release of information to media, individual or group inquiries. Conduct briefings for internal or external audiences to communicate the organization’s projects or programs.
