Job Objective & Safety/Security Sensitive Designation

To serve as custodian to all property and evidence received into the property room of the Little Rock Police Department by retrieving property and evidence and transporting to property room; processes and enters into a computerized property inventory database and places in secure areas; maintains appropriate chain of custody in compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, statutes and rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the Little Rock Police Department Property Room. This position is designated as a safety/security sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol screening.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of high school and one (1) year of experience in property storage or inventory control, or a related area; one (1) year of personal computer experience.
