Overview
This position leads and manages land surveying projects as well as the Land Survey staff.
Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, and review activities and deliverables of field and office staff assigned to various land surveying projects. Work closely with engineering staff and clients. Provide guidance and direction to the Survey Technicians and LSITs. Manages and schedules individual projects. Performs or delegates tasks as assigned by the Survey Department Manager or Survey Project Manager. Performs calculations and prepares field packages. Processes acquired field data into a neat and accurate plat of survey and/or Metes and Bounds description. Responsible for quality control of drawings and legal descriptions prepared by others.
