Key Responsibilities

• Apply modern cultivation techniques for optimal growth and quality

• Oversee harvesting, treatment and processing of bamboo

• Explore and implement innovative uses of bamboo (e.g, school furniture, construction, crafts)

• Work closely with local communities, artisans and partners

• Train and supervise staff in bamboo cultivation and utilization

• Monitor market opportunities

Qualification Required & Experience

• Diploma / Degree or equivalent Education or experience in agriculture, forestry, or sustainable resource management

• Strong knowledge of bamboo cultivation and/or interest in innovative natural materials

• Business mindset with experience in value chain development

• Leadership and organizational skills

• Passion for sustainability and community development

• Strong skills in MS Word and Excel, AutoCAD knowledge advantageous
