Project Engineer (remote work) – 6 month contract Peak Ocean is seeking a versatile and proactive Project Engineer to join our technical team. This role offers a unique hybrid balance, requiring a strong physical presence on-site in the shipyard to oversee critical execution phases, combined with the flexibility to manage engineering documentation and planning remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary technical point of contact in the shipyard. Monitor repair, conversion, or new-build progress on jack-ups and rigs to ensure work aligns with owner specifications and class requirements.
Apply a deep understanding of rig maintenance (mechanical, electrical, and structural) to identify potential issues before they become costly delays.
Bridge the gap between shipyard contractors and the owner’s project team. Review technical drawings, Method Statements, and Work Packs.
