Performs project initiation, planning, procurement, and engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints. Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Coordinating with stakeholders in the project initiation phase to identify the problem, evaluate alternative solutions, establish scope, develop an estimate, and determine the return on investment. Planning requires coordination of engineering design, material and construction specification document development, competitive procurement/bid events for equipment, materials and labor.
