Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0301-09, Program Specialist (Environmental Response Team) located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Coast Guard National Response Center (CG-NRC) in Washington, District of Columbia. Responsibilities You will serve as a Program Specialist (Environmental Response Team) and be responsible for serving as the sole federal point of contact for the reporting of all pollution, railroad, and port security incidents occurring in the United States and its territories. The primary purpose of of the National response Center (NRC) is to collect, coordinate, analyze, and manage environmental response, maritime security, and railroad incident information in order to reduce catastrophic impact on human life and the environment.
