Position Overview
Responsibilities
Oversee build projects from contract award through to vessel delivery, ensuring compliance with design specifications, class, flag, and regulatory requirements.Act as primary technical liaison between shipyard, owners, classification societies, and equipment suppliers, managing communications and resolving technical issues.Monitor construction progress through regular site visits and inspections, ensuring quality standards, timelines, and budget targets are maintained.Review and approve technical documentation, including plans, drawings, equipment specifications, and change orders throughout the build process.Support commissioning and sea trials, coordinating with shipyard and owner representatives to validate systems performance and readiness for delivery.Ensure seamless handover to operational teams by preparing maintenance schedules, technical manuals, and spare parts lists, and facilitating training as require...
