Principal Engineers have two primary functions in their day to day responsibilities. They are responsible, under the guidance of their respective Design Director, for the development and implementation of the highest levels of Technical Excellence within their delivery environment/specialist area. In addition to this technical role, they are also charged with assuming the historical HoD responsibilities for the staff members in their nominated Design Group (circa 10-15 staff members).
