Salary - c£65,000 + Benefits Package



Due to the nature of the work, this role requires eligibility for Security Clearance (SC) and can only consider Sole British Nationals.



Copello are working with a leading Defence organisation in Kent to recruit a Principal Mechanical Engineer. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team supporting the design, development and ongoing support of complex, safety-critical systems.



Lead the development of innovative mechanical design solutions to meet customer and programme requirements

Produce and review technical documentation, design data packs, calculations and engineering reports

Act as a Design Authority, reviewing and approving engineering designs and technical datasets

Provide technical leadership and guidance across multidisciplinary engineering teams
