Basic Function:

T he Principal Intern assists the Principal and Assistant Principal(s) in the performance of the various leadership responsibilities including instructional leadership, which are attendant to the successful administration of the school. The specific duties which are assigned by the Principal and the decision-making authority related to such assignments are as established in the working relationship between the Principal and Principal Intern. The Principal Intern will work with district level coaches to ensure successful experiences are achieved during the internship that align with the Professional Standards for Educational Leaders (PSEL).
