Key Responsibilities

• Be nominated and carry out the NR 02009 duties of the Contractors Engineering Manager (CEM) for the whole of the Old Oak Common MEPHFC scope.
  • Assessing and mentoring CRE’s in all aspects of applicable Network Rail standards including Engineering Management for Projects NR/L2/INI/02009.
  • Using initiative and confidence to put forward solutions based on sound engineering principles.
  • Challenging the brief, enabling innovative development of unambiguous engineering solutions from feasibility through to detailed design.
  • Design and checking of engineering solutions.
  • Production and/or review of clear, consistent, referenced calculations, reports and sketches to current CoP and Standards.
  • Clear communication of design philosophy and requirements with other team members.
  • Appreciation of the team's financial, quality and programme targets.
