Our client, is currently seeking a Principal or Associate Highway Engineer to join their Local Government team in Gloucester on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading the development of highway designs on multi-disciplinary projects through all stages of the project life cycle
• Ensuring projects are delivered to budget, programme, technical standards, and legal requirements
• Mentoring and developing junior staff to support their professional growth
• Providing technical support to Project Managers, including planning, programming, and cost estimation
• Checking, certifying, and authorising designs, documents, approvals, and reports
• Managing a portfolio of varied multi-disciplinary projects
