Key Responsibilities

• Childcare and Education:

  • Ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children aged 2-4 years.
  • Delivering an appropriate play-based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Observing and tracking children's development, and planning activities to support their individual progress.
  • Providing a high standard of care and implementing positive behavior management strategies.

• Staff Management:

  • Supervising and mentoring staff within the room, including nursery practitioners, assistants, and apprentices.
  • Delegating responsibilities and ensuring staff are working effectively.

• Parental Partnerships:

  • Building positive relationships with parents and communicating effectively about their child's development.
  • Involving parents in their child's learning and development.
