Position Overview
Pre-Litigation Paralegal — Personal Injury
- Open and manage new personal injury files from intake through pre-suit resolution
- Handle all aspects of liability, UM/UIM, MedPay, and property damage claims with insurance carriers
- Manage property damage claims from first notice through final settlement
- Request, track, and organize medical records, bills, and lien information from providers, hospitals, and insurers
- Draft and assemble demand packages, including damages summaries and supporting documentation
- Communicate regularly with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and lienholders
- Maintain case management systems, deadlines, and statute of limitations tracking
- Support attorneys in evaluating cases and preparing files for potential litigation
