Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Technologist in Lutz, FL. This person will be supporting distribution design projects for residential and commercial customers. In this role, they'll support electric distribution projects through a mix of office-based design work and occasional field activities. Responsibilities include assisting with overhead and underground distribution layouts, preparing construction-ready design packages, using CAD and work management tools, reviewing designs for compliance with utility and safety standards, learning equipment loading and system capacity concepts, coordinating with engineering and construction teams, supporting field validation efforts, tracking project progress, maintaining organized documentation, and upholding a strong safety-first culture.
