CABI is a partner is in the Leverhulme Research Centre for the Holobiont https://www.imperial.ac.uk/holobiont/ , a 10 year project led by Imperial College (Professor Tom Bell at Silwood Park). As part of this project CABI has been allocated a Post doctoral scientist to undertake a project that is relevant to both CABI and the Leverhulme Centre. The proposed project (detailed over the next pages) would allow us to answer key biological questions related to the soil microbiome of the invasive species Impatiens glandulifera.

This project provides the opportunity of a ‘Post only’ for CABI. Total income (as contract) is £236,836. Staff costs are £197,836 and allowable Direct costs are 25% of this total.
