Position Overview
Core Responsibilities - Installation : Installing new plumbing systems in new construction, and fitting fixtures like sinks, toilets, showers, and appliances with water lines.
- Repair : Fixing leaks, replacing parts, and clearing clogged drains and pipes.
- Maintenance : Performing routine checks and preventive maintenance on plumbing systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and to prevent future problems.
- Troubleshooting : Diagnosing problems with plumbing systems, often using tools like leak detection devices and sewer cameras, to identify the cause of issues.
- System management : Working with various systems including hot and cold water, gas lines, and drainage and waste systems.
Additional Responsibilities - Blueprint interpretation : Reading and understanding blueprints and building plans to plan and execute installations.
