Location: Silver Bay, MN

Cleveland-Cliffs has immediate openings for Plant Operations Technicians at their Northshore Mining Company facility located at the Silver Bay Plant. The primary function of this position is to operate and maintain all plant equipment associated with the production of taconite pellets in a self-directed work environment.

Summary of Responsibilities:

+ Replacing idlers and scrapers.

+ Replacing oil pumps

+ Chute repairs

+ Minor plumbing

+ Cutting & welding

+ Repairing cyclones and pan feeders

+ Belt replacement

+ Minor pipefitting

+ Conveyor alignment

+ General clean up.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
