A leading Legal 500 Top 50 UK law firm is looking to appoint a Planning Legal Director to join its growing northern team, based in either Manchester or Leeds.

This is a senior opportunity for an experienced planning lawyer who wants to step into a visible role within a national team and work towards Partnership in the medium term.

The team already acts for many of the UK’s largest housebuilders and developers and sits on a number of major housebuilder panels, advising on large scale residential schemes and strategic developments across the UK.

You will play a key role in growing the northern planning offering alongside highly regarded partners in the team.

The role will involve advising on:

• Town and country planning
• Planning applications and strategic land promotion
• Highways and compulsory purchase matters
• Planning enforcement and litigation
• Development consent orders (DCO) and infrastructure projects
