Overview The Planning Manager oversees the planning department, ensuring that all project schedules and strategies align with the organization’s goals.
Responsibilities - Develop and manage the master schedule.
- Lead strategic planning and resource forecasting.
- Prepare the project contractual critical path schedule and breakdown structure for submission and approval based on contract documents.
- Prepare regular updates using information received from PM, PCM, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Track the schedule of resources, plant and manpower to meet activity milestones and produce histograms.
- Update and track material schedules, including submission, approval, order, and delivery; ensure timely availability of materials to minimize storage and prevent negative schedule impact; produce related reports to the Head of Planning.
