Job Title: Pizza Cook
Reports to: Sous Chef / Executive Chef
Compensation: Based on experience, $18-$24/hour
The Pizza Cook is a key member of the Back of House team, responsible for preparing, assembling, and cooking pizzas in a high-volume wood-fired oven environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to quality and consistency. The Pizza Cook plays an important role in maintaining kitchen standards, supporting teammates, and ensuring an organized, clean, and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas according to recipe and quality standards.
- Operate and manage a wood-fired oven, including monitoring oven temperatures and adjusting cooking techniques as needed.
