ROLE SUMMARY

The Picker is responsible for consolidating the order from the put away area’s including picking the order from the shelf in selling area, check expiry date and scan all ordered Items. He/ She should pick according to the company standards and in a productive way. The picker is also responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders picked.

ROLE PROFILE

• Pick the order by scanning item by item.
• Perform quality control checks on all items.
• Ensure that all picked goods/items conform to the expiry date policy.
• Verify and confirm OOS with the section in charge.
• Provide feedback to pickers if wrong items are picked or the quality of the product is not as per the standard.
• Ensure the put away area is organized and all unused trolleys and crates are moved to the storage area.
