The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Psychiatrist performs psychiatric assessment and treatment of co-morbid substance use disorders and general mental health conditions within a multi-disciplinary team. The psychiatrist is responsible for the ambulatory treatment of medically managed withdrawal from alcohol, benzodiazepines, and/or opioids.
