The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO is a seeking full-time BC/BE Pain Management physician who will provide care to Veterans in the Multidisciplinary Pain Management Program.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Diagnoses, treats, and manages patients with chronic pain conditions according to standard, usual and acceptable or customary methods and techniques including medication management with opioids and minor interventional pain procedures
Reports to the Associate Chief of Staff, Specialty Care Services or his designated surrogate
Works independently, caring for outpatients in an established clinic
Consults with patients inpatient and Community Living Center settings
Expected to cooperate with and participate in medical duties or functions related to quality of care review and improvement, including orientation to Poplar Bluff VAMC safety and infection control procedures
