The VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System is actively recruiting for a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to work as a Hospitalist (Nocturnist) at our Medical Center in Leavenworth, Kansas (only 35 minutes from downtown Kansas City, MO).

VA Eastern Kansas Health Care System is currently seeking a BC/BE Hospitalist (Nocturnist) to cover inpatient wards/PCU/ICU after hours. Will be responsible for taking calls on Medicine patients in-house (Med/Surg floor, PCU, ICU), managing emergencies and writing admission orders and completing required paperwork. Will handle transfers into and out of the facility as needed. Candidate will coordinate hand-off communication after hours and at the start and completion of shifts. Will see Medicine consults after hours as needed. Work hours to be 80 hours per 2 week period.
