Position Overview
Summary The Chief of Medicine reports to the Chief of Staff and provides oversight and responsibility for a large spectrum of clinical operations and administrative functions for the 14 sections, inclusive of inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient specialty areas (Allergy, Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Neurology, Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep, Rheumatology and Occupational Health). Responsibilities The Chief of Medicine is responsible for the overall management, planning, organization, direction, and control of all programs within the Healthcare Group.
