Physician Assistant - Gastro/Hep (Urbandale)

Basic Function and Responsibility: Assist Gastroenterology faculty in the performance of direct patient care services for patient outcomes for adult Gastroenterology patients across outpatient clinics and infusion services at our Urbandale Iowa location. The PA-C provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and coordination services under faculty supervision while exercising appropriate autonomy within the PA–physician collaborative relationship.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

• Outpatient Clinics: New patients assigned to the out patient clinics:
• Prepare a complete, detailed and accurate initial patient history and perform a complete physical exam of selected patients in the outpatient clinic.
