Position Overview

We are inviting applications for a three‑year or four‑year PhD Research Fellow position in professional/workplace learning at the Department of Education, University of Oslo. The fellow will examine how emerging epistemic technologies such as AI‑powered tools influence knowledge work, professional expertise, and learning processes. The research will focus on advanced knowledge work in the public sector, with empirical designs spanning organisational settings or specific human‑technology interactions.

Applicants should propose a research project, including research questions, theoretical framing, and a design that allows analysis of how professionals work with emerging technologies.
