Under the direction of the Pharmacist-in-Charge, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting in the preparation and distribution of medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient and pharmacy records in a manner consistent with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate or equivalent Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, preferred Register with the Montana State Board of Pharmacy as a Technician-In-Training. The permit to practice as a Technician-In-Training shall be good for a period not to exceed the expiration date on the Board of Pharmacy issued license.
