The General Medical ward comprises 30 beds, including a Close Observation unit for patients requiring a higher level of care. Medical services are provided by ward based doctors and VMO's including local General Practitioners who have admitting rights Travel and accommodation negotiated. Patients with private health insurance are able to select any available Doctor with admmitting rights to look after them. A General Physician and a Gerontologist provide services in the general ward as well, along with a range of allied health services Details
