TITLE: PEST CONTROL ADVISOR
LOCATION: BAKERSFIELD, CA
COMPENSATION: $66,560 / YEAR
PURPOSE:
To serve as a staff Pest Control Advisor (PCA) in the Organic Farming Division, working with Agronomists, Farm Managers, Pest Control Advisors, and other staff to develop and implement sound Integrated Pest Management practices in organic vegetable production.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Inspect various crops, analyze problems, and make recommendations regarding the prevention and control of all types of agricultural pests and diseases. Stay informed of new and emerging information and technology in the field of agricultural pest control, with emphasis on organic pest control.
