Position Overview
Daily Operations - Process medication orders/prescriptions
- Picking, packing and labelling in accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
- Perform billing functions
- Maintains the cleanliness of the pharmacy
- Involvement in workplace quality improvement projects/activities as and when required
Inventory Management - Ensures stocks are stocked up properly and tidily according to First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) requirement and stipulated storage condition
- Ensures correct receiving of goods
- Secondary repackaging/redressing
- Carry out cycle counts and stock takes periodically according to SOPs
Dispensing - Dispensing of medications to patientsin accordance with stipulated policies, guidelines and department standard operating procedures
