Per Diem Surgical Technician II

Works in collaboration with the Registered Nurses to provide care of the surgical patient in the OR suite. Prepares the instruments for each surgical procedure. Scrubs in on surgical cases to prepare instruments and assists the surgeon. Assists in room turn over and is responsible for instrument decontamination. Contributes to the orientation of new surgical technician's. Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development as it relates to specific age groups. This position works as needed to provide staffing for the ASC OR. This position serves the following age groups: Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.
