Responsible for providing bus/transit service to employees, students, and visitors. Ensures bus/transit vehicle is properly equipped, serviced, and cleaned. May perform minor maintenance/repairs and provide reports for services provided.
Essential Duties:
Operates vehicle while following scheduled routes and maintains a time schedule complying with traffic regulations in order to safely and efficiently transport employees, students, and visitors around the campus.Inspects transit vehicle, to include but not limited to gas, oil, water levels, brakes, windshield wipers, lights and safety equipment, to ensure everything is in working order, properly equipped, maintained, and clean.Performs minor maintenance/repairs and creates reports for services rendered.
