Description We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support accurate and timely payroll operations for a large employee population in Portland, Maine. This is a Long-term Contract position focused on managing end-to-end payroll activities across multiple states while maintaining compliance and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities:
• Process full-cycle payroll for a workforce of more than 500 employees, ensuring pay is issued accurately and on schedule.
• Administer payroll activities across multiple states while applying appropriate tax, wage, and compliance requirements.
