Patient Care Technician  Location: Coldwater Regional Hospital Schedule: Full-Time, Days POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direction of a registered nurse, performs various patient care activities necessary in caring for patient or a group of patients. Performs clerical and receptionist duties as required. ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Applies the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served (ie: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric), coordinated and delegated by licensed nursing personnel.

2. Obtains patient data, including vital signs, height, weight, and I and O measurements and documents on the daily nursing assessment sheet or communicates results to the assigned RN. Notifies RN of abnormal vitals or PGLUs immediately.
